Here are the winning entries of this year's contest (with comments from each judge)!
First place - "Distant Seraphim" [By Marcotte]
~I could definitely see this as a drawing for Enevalia. The color choice is perfect, and the details were well retained. What I love most is that that the characters were drawn in such a different style, but still made an impact on me.
~What stood out in this drawing was how well the background and overall atmosphere blended with the characters portrayed. Simple poses are given but the detail in character and outfits are excellent which add to extra liking. Colors chosen for background mix well with the characters expressions. Overall, the background was given just as much as attention as the characters were and I really liked that.
~This piece deserved 1st place because of the really good drawing, shading and coloring. It also has very creative background.
Second place - "Training"

~The details in this piece is just amazing. Everything as far as detail is perfect and the poses are very dynamic. I'm not sure what more I can say because I just simply love everything about this picture.
~I LOVE the idea of parent and child bonding-time and this piece expresses that and so much more who really know the characters. Simple and soft expressions portray their emotions and overall feeling of the drawing perfectly! Fine little details is what I noticed the most about this drawing... and props because traditional media was used!
~This entry has good detail and is realistic to the emotion the characters would actually have.
Third place - "Lost Love"

~This piece has a great eye for detail. All the background elements make it seem like a proper environment for the story. It also sets the overall mood of the entire piece, which I think turned out to tell the best story.
~A very emotional piece but drawn out very well for the viewers to understand what's going on. The background and colors chosen was appropriate for what was being displayed here. Characters were well placed in the setting and I really enjoy their expressions... especially Minerva's. One can really feel her sorrow in this picture.
~This has good coloring and patterns. It also captures emotion well.
